Services Available

Individual therapy for adults, children, and adolescents. Specialty areas in trauma resiliency, anxiety and depression, work burnout, relationship difficulties, and supporting stepmoms and future stepmoms.

Family therapy for all types of families.

I am happy to provide single-session or short-term consultation for particular specialization areas, such as trauma or stepparenting. I also have extensive experience working with school districts assisting families with IEPs and special education, and providing support and advocacy in the educational environment.

I enjoy working with other therapists, and students who are on their path to become therapists. I can offer reduced fees for students; please contact me to discuss further.

Fees for Services

My standard rate for individual, family, and couples therapy is $150 per 50-minute session.

Sliding Scale fees are available per agreement between therapist and client. It is a core value of my psychotherapy practice to directly support accessible therapy for all, and in cases where we are a good client-therapist fit but my standard fee is unmanageable, I am able to offer a very flexible sliding scale. If I may not be the right therapist for you, if my practice is full, and/or if I am unable to accommodate a manageable sliding scale fee for you, I am happy to help you to locate other resources for affordable services.

Insurance – I am not currently on any insurance panels, but can provide detailed statements/superbills for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement for out-of-network services.

The main reasons I have chosen not to contract with insurance companies involve: increased risk of the loss of privacy of your health information as a client when dealing with insurance companies; the permanent medical records that are created by insurance companies which can sometimes impact your access to health care, certain jobs, or some kinds of health or life insurance throughout the rest of your life; and the necessity of providing a psychiatric diagnosis for your insurance company’s representatives to determine the ‘medical necessity’ of your therapy. I keep client records that are secure and privileged only to myself, unless specifically requested per written release by an individual who receives therapy and wants to release their records to another party.

Please contact me directly by email or phone to discuss further and customize the type of consultation support you’d like.
